Overview

With AssetPath, users are able to view and manage transfers and see transfer statuses.

Procedure

Below are a number of functions for Asset Transfers; which includes viewing, creating, and updating

Viewing

Through AssetPath Portal
  1. Open the AssetPath Portal and navigate to the Materials section.

  2. Select Transfer Orders.

Through ServiceNow Native UI
  1. Select Inventory > Transfer Orders > Transfer Orders.

  2. Use the table tools to select the desired transfer item.

Creating

  1. Select Inventory > Transfer Orders > Transfer Orders.

  2. Fill in the From stockroom and To stockroom fields, click on the additional actions button beside the back button, and Save.

  3. Press New for a new Transfer Order Lines.

  4. Enter the product Model, Quantity requested, and Asset.

  5. Press Submit.

Number
Unique transfer identifier.
From stockroom
Stockroom which the asset is transferring from.
From location
Location which the asset is transferring from.
Requested date
Date at which the transfer request is made.
Drop Off
Check if the transfer is to be dropped off.
Stage
Current stage of the transfer.
To Stockroom
Stockroom which the asset is transferring to.
To location
Location which the asset is transferring to.
Delivery by date
Date at which the asset delivered.

Updating

Through AssetPath Portal
  1. Open the AssetPath Portal, navigate to the Materials section, select Transfer Orders.

  2. Select the desired Transfer item.

  3. Depending on the current stage, a button located at the bottom of the transfer number form with the next stage is present.

  4. Press this button to move the transfer item to the next stage

Through ServiceNow Native UI
  1. Select Inventory > Transfer Orders > Transfer Orders.

  2. Open the desired transfer item.

  3. 1. Press the button with the next stage which is located between the update and delete buttons. For example; the current stage is Requested, therefore the button says Prepare for shipment.
