Overview

With the power of AssetPath’s Fleet Management Tools, you are able to manage your physical fleet assets through the Fleet Dashboard.

Procedure

  1. Open the AssetPath Portal.

  2. Scroll to the Fleet section and press All.

  3. Press New located on the tables top.

    4. New Fleet Asset



  4. Fill out the form were applicable.

    		Description
    Display name
    		Name which is displayed to the user.
    Model category
    		Associate Configuration Item classes with asset classes.
    Model
    		Specific version or configuration of an asset.
    Asset Tag
    		Alphanumeric information associated to the asset.
    State
    		Vehicle asset’s current state.
    Substate
    		Current substate of an asset. Values depend on the parent state.
    Stockroom
    		Stockroom associated with the physical vehicle asset.
    Assigned to
    		User assigned to the asset when asset is in use.
    Cost center
    		Department which represents the asset entity.
    Department
    		Department to which the asset belongs to.
    Company
    		Company which owns the asset.
    Depreciation effective date
    		Date which the depreciation starts.
    Managed by
    		Management of asset.
    Location
    		Assets physical location.
    Fleet type
    		Type of fleet asset.
    Make
    		Vehicle make.
    Fleet Model
    		Vehicle model.
    Year
    		Fleet asset year.
    Cost
    		Asset cost.
    In Service Date
    		Date when asset is available.
    VIN
    		Vehicle identification number.
    Plate
    		Vehicle plate number.
    PM Due Date
    		Planned maintenance due date.
    PM Type
    		Type of planned maintenance.
    Next PM Service Date
    		Next planned maintenance date.
    Next PM Service Miles
    		Next planned maintenance mileage.

  5. Press Save.
