Overview

Planned repairs and maintenances can easily be automated with AssetPath. This guide will show the steps taken in order to set up a planned maintenance for an asset.

Procedure

  1. In the Navigator, select Planned Maintenance > Maintenance Plans.

  2. Press the New button located at the top of the table. This will bring you to a form for creating a new Maintenance Plan record.

  3. New Planned Maintenance Form

    Field
    Description
    Number
    Unique identifier for the new maintenance plan.
    Name
    Title for the new maintenance plan.
    Short Description
    A short description describing the plan.
    Type
    Type of plan.
    Model
    If the type is Model Based, select the model associated with the plan.
    Table
    Table associated with the plan.
    Filter Condition
    Filter for the table records.
    Apply to new matching records
    Apply plan to new records matching the filter.
    Task creation policy
    Describes what is done when the plan runs on a record which is in maintenance.
  4. Once the form is filled with the appropriate information, select the Submit button to complete the record creation.
