The settings to create a new data scrambler is set here.
2. Creating a new Scramble Definition
- Navigate to Stave Data Tools > Data Scrambler > Create new Scramble Definition
- Fill in the following form
- Submit, or Save
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Number | An identifier set by automatically by the application. |
| Description | A textual description set by user. |
| Table | Select the table to be used for the scramble definition. |
| Mode | Select the scramble mode. Xs, Shuffle, or Nowlpsum. |
| Fields | Enter the fields to be scrambled. Use commas to seperate more than one field. |
| Filter | Select a filter to limit the return of records for the scramble definition. |
